String trio ensemble “Soleil” invites listeners to a classical music concert “Summer Moods” on July 7 at 4:00 PM, which will take place at the Watteau hall of the Mentzendorff’s House-Museum.
On Tuesday afternoon, Mentzendorff’s House visitors will be delighted by the string trio “Soleil”, whose members are young, successful musicians: violinist Emīlija Bukša, violist Viktorija Viktorova and cellist Zenta Evita Timermane. As a string trio “Soleil” artists have performed both in Latvia and in different countries of Europe, with captivatingly passionate, professionally masterful performance of chamber music, providing listeners with true musical enjoyment.
The concert will feature “Serenade in C Major” by Dohnányi Ernő and “Aubade” by George Enescu imbued with romance, as well as the dramatic “String Trio for Violin, Viola, Cello” by Latvian composer Tālivaldis Ķeniņš and two preludes for string trio “The Dance of the Trolls” and “The Devil’s Dance” by young Latvian composer Kristiāns Patriks Krastiņš.
