The workshop will be led by Romanian artists Maria Poștea and Bogdan Gărgăriță, who, together with author and heritage researcher Mihai Moldovan, are currently in Riga for a three-week research residency focused on documenting the city’s remarkable Art Nouveau heritage. Their research will contribute to a new volume in the “Detail Series”, a collection of art books dedicated to promoting early 20th-century heritage around the world.

This research is supported by the European Union through the Culture Moves Europe programme, implemented by the Goethe-Institut.
