Exhibition “The magnetic field has no mirror image” – spatial installation by glass artist Guna Ose

Exhibition “The Magnetic Field Has no Mirror Image” – spatial installation by glass artist Guna Ose is on view from May 23 to July 15, 2026 in the Small Exhibition Hall of the Mentzendorff’s House.

Striving to connect art, science, and spirituality, using various artistic expression possibilities, Guna Ose has created a work of art that speaks to, provokes reflection, and evokes emotions. The artist wants to create a space where everyone could meet their “inner child” or an unfulfilled dream that, like a magnet, attracts, but the body remains just an observer. The understanding that as adults we were once children must be allowed to reawaken within us! Emptiness is not ignorance, but a state from which one sets out on the path of ‘self’ searching. Every line is like the “many-worlds interpretation,” where the observer’s choice could be the beginning of a world!

“Thus, my childhood dream of dancing ballet never came true, which is symbolically represented inside the artwork by two broken lines. But as I look further, I see this dream fulfilled in my two daughters, who dance ballet.
Through this personal experience, I realize how important it is to live in a world where peace prevails — a world where every child can pursue their dreams. The happier and more fulfilled our children are, the more balanced our future society will become,” the artist reveals the thought encoded in the artwork
