Safe visit to the museum

Friends and visitors of the Latvian Museum of Photography, due to an emergency situation is declared in Latvia from October 11, 2021 till January 11, 2022, you can visit the museum in person only in an epidemiologically safe environment. When visiting the museum:

  • a valid Covid-19 certificate must be presented;
  • an ID must be presented;
  • a properly worn face mask must be used while in the museum;
  • a distance of 2m from other visitors must be observed.

NB! Museum do not provide student tours during a state of emergency.

The operation of the museum is carried out in accordance with the sanitary protocol developed for the museum industry, the aim of which is to ensure the maximum protection of visitors and employees. The museum implements the following epidemiological security measures:

  • ensures regular cleaning, disinfection and ventilation of the premises,
  • hand disinfectants are available in the museum,
  • face masks are available at the museum box office,
  • the museum staff controls the number and flow of visitors (for one visitor or representatives of one household we provide 15 m2 of public space; in temporary exhibition halls we can admit 8 visitors and 10 in the historical exhibition hall).

We remind you that the museum’s working hours are: Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays from 10.00 to 17.00; on Thursdays from 12:00 to 19:00; closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.
